Do you like modern interiors? After we showed you an example of how to obtain a clean, contemporary design and how to mix modern elements with traditional ones, it’s time to see a house that succeeded both. It is located in Tel Aviv, Israel and it was realized by Chamizer Architects respecting the rules of functionality and sustainability. One of the most important rules I learned after seeing the pictures is to keep a balance between modern elements and old objects. This is the easiest way to create a room with personality, a space that speaks about you and your family, a house that doesn’t represent a showroom. The designers made a scenery where there is enough space for old chairs, books, pictures, as well as for sophisticated accessories and modern gadgets. There is no problem in mixing them! All you have to do is to pay attention to the ratio of mixture. Good luck!

The architects decided to use a traditional chair design in order to bring historical stories inside. I advise you to do the same if you want to avoid blank, modern spaces that lack personality.

The lighting object represents the most attractive piece from the living room. When you create a clean, simple design, it’s important to add an extravagant object to make the atmosphere unique.

The designers opted for neutral, light colors…but they supplemented the dull surfaces with artistic objects such as the metal, figurative pieces hanging on the wall.

Second plan…a collection of old stools and armchairs. I love this combination of bringing old elements in a modern interior.

A grey touch in the bathroom beautified with modern accessories and a vase with orchids.

A stool with a nice tapestry. Also, notice the legs wrapped in printed textile.

A modern kitchen, yet with a cozy, warm atmosphere.

Take some ideas at home: you can make an interesting leg for a lamp recycling some old books!
