Buzilan Digital Visualization Studio is a firm founded by architects Anca and Claudiu Buzilan in 2011, based in Bucharest, Romania.
According to the architects: ” Last year we were contracted by Arcadia Engineering, for a 3D animation for a building they were designing. We were also in charge of the interior design of the offices and the leisure areas. The whole idea of the project was to create a complex that provided besides the spaces for businesses to set up their offices, spaces where all related activities could take place like having lunch, business meetings and even relax after work. The challenge in designing the restaurant/bar/lounge was to satisfy the need for a multipurpose space, with well defined layers of function as well as keeping a good communication between the areas and an overall unitary design. The point was to create a link to the natural exterior and thus clearly separating this area from the “working areas” and giving it a special status and mood, a paradoxical breath of fresh air. This was achieved by using lush vegetation, a lot of wood and bare concrete for the floor.”
