Designed by Belgian designers Jérôme Spriet and Wolfgang Bregentzer, ‘Acoustable‘ is a combination of a modern coffee table and sound system.

The coffee table at the center of the room becomes the sound system and the power terminal. There are no visible technical elements, only the player and a remote which can both be stored in a built in pocket.

The sound system nestled in polypropylene foam between the table ‘s base and top surface, is composed of speakers, woofer, and stereo amplifier with usb and ipod connection ports. Its shape follows the natural curves of an elastic membrane which, like its sound, fills the space suggestively.

The Acoustable is a brilliant new multi-functional table. The Acoustable includes Teac speakers, woofer and stereo amp integrated under the top. USB and iPod connections let you plug your portable music players directly in.
