The Market restaurant is precisely located in a difficult triangular site in the middle of the garage shop and cluster adobe housing in Lima’s tradition district of Miraflores.  It was realized by Jaime Ortiz de Zevallos and the concept aimed to create two separate spaces that respond to the program requirements, the context and the relation between public and private space. It occupies a former auto repair garage, wisely transformed by architect Jaime Ortiz de Zevallos into a comfortable and attractive locale of high open ceilings, wooden decks, iron beams, and naked brick walls. The weather in Peru allowed the restaurant to place the dining room in a large open garden/terrace defined by a recycled wood front wall façade, masonry walls, an open kitchen and the wood covered pastry room.
