Offices that mix and match are on the top of my list when it comes to recommend a fresh, trendy and dynamic remodel. Appreciated for its energetic spirit, the style has become a friendly presence in offices too. This is exactly the case with the B.sorted working space in Bucharest, Romania, a project realised by Dotka studio. The brief from the client was simple, yet challenging: no employee occupies a desk, everybody should be able to work anywhere, depending on the task they are having. Thus, designer Dana Kallo and architect Alexandra Barbu decided upon a layout with single desks and a teamwork space on the first floor and conference spaces close to the café on the lower floor. The result? The colours and the light invade the open space and create the cozy atmosphere of a social hub.

At the office, the stairs provide enough space for storing items and they are used as cinema seats after work.
