If you are the owner of a small apartment, do not panic! A lot of redecorating ideas flow on the market, providing functional and stylish solutions. For example, if you remove a wall or two, and you use appropriate textiles and paints, the crib will look spectacular in several weeks. This was also the case with the home below, an apartment refurnished by designer Flavia Capponi that we spotted on Casa Diez. One of the most important steps made here was the removing of the wall which separated the living and dining room. Now, they share the same space and the inhabitants enjoy an airy, comfortable atmosphere. Embracing a classic aesthetic, the designer opted for two cozy sofas, placed in “L”, in the living room, complemented by an antique, sophisticated armchair. The same line continues in the dining room that features an elegant wooden table for six.

If you have a small apartment does not mean you have to neglect the details that bring personality to a home. Here, designer Flavia Capponi chose a romantic theme, transforming the interior into a dreamy, glamorous space. Chandeliers, candles, velvet pillows, diaphanous curtains and lots of flowers make the apartment warm and mysterious. Natural shades create a welcoming ambient, while hot spots of violet, pink and purple animate the space. In the kitchen, white governs the interior and floor-to-ceiling cabinets were installed in order to enlarge the storing space. In a nutshell, small apartments can be transformed in elegant homes that offer both warmth and functionality.
