Spotted on archdaily.com, the house we present you today was realized in 2010 by COOTAR studio with designers Federico Sotomayor, Carlos Gomez Zorrilla, Juan Fernandez and Gabriel Fernandez. As the team explained, the main goal of the project was to create a contemporary, exclusive property aligned to the high standards of its location. The constructive solutions that have been used in this property express the great quality and the uniqueness of the house. Even if the exterior seems borrowed from an office building with its metallic mesh, white marble and travertine walls, the dwelling conserves elegance and comfiness. The ‘reproduction’ of several themes played an essential role. The property is built through repetition and serialization of five volumes, which are articulated in the middle, through the main corridor of the house. Thus, it responds to a topography with a slope descending into the movement area, integrating in a simple way the slope of the plot.
