Realized in 2013 by Polyform, the cancer counseling center in Aalborg, Denmark invites the patient in and creates room for life. Paying attention to sustainability, the five buildings that make up the center are built of red brick and green roofs. What you know about traditional hospital must remain outside when entering here because the architects succeeded in creating a welcoming, relaxing space that offers positive expectations and calmness for the patients. Each units rooms comes in different sizes and heights and features niches that invites visitors and staff to sit down for spontaneous talks.
