Associated with ceremonies since the Roman Empire, white is in the hands of contemporary architects right now. It stands for brightness, purity and universality. And, most of the time, it reflects freedom of both function and form. That inspired Romanian architects Vlad Popescu and Melania Dulamea to create Dumitrache House, a residence located in a lovely, green area near Bucharest, the capital of Romania. Subverting the traditional thinking on ornament, the villa impresses its visitors with its clean, simple lines, while the fabulous garden with the impressive pool makes their staying an incredible experience. Spacious, luminescent and with a lot of opened space are the key elements of the house that seems to describe perfectly the tranquil flow of the forest in the neighborhood.
