The excitement of embracing your baby for the first time is unique. For her it was even more special. This is the true story of Tatiana Guerra, a blind pregnant woman that ‘sees’ her unborn baby for the first time with 3D printing. Huggies is a brand concerned about every moment between a mother and a son, including one of the most important: the first time they meet. The heartwarming mix of technology and love is part of a larger campaign by Huggies Brasil providing other mothers with the same opportunity. It is amazing how blind people can’t remember all of the details in photos, which can make visual memories fade over time.

During pregnancies, ultrasounds exams, which let both parents and doctors view the unborn child, are truly special moments. 30-year-old Guerra, however, wouldn’t have been able to see the ultrasound – she lost her sight at 17 years of age. With the help of a mobile 3D-printing station provided by Huggies, however, the doctors at her hospital surprised her with a bust of her unborn son Murilo.
