Located in Khandala, India, the Monsoon Retreat is a project designed by Abraham John ARCHITECTS.
The villa is designed in response to site conditions, but the house allows one to experience nature. The large amount of vegetation provides a private atmosphere and creates the perfect nook to enjoy a fine afternoon. The living room was designed as an “outdoor space” with abundant light and natural ventilation. The indoor/outdoor boundaries disappear as every room opens up to a private outdoor space.
