The party atmosphere of Latin America has burst into London due to Dtwo design studio that completed the project of Barrio East in 2012. After visiting Buckingham Palace and London Bridge, you can take one hour break in a location where Latin spirit feels among quirky colors, fantastic lighting items, inspiring mosaics and king size leather sofas. The 500-capacity space was divided into 3 separate areas: Barrio Downtown, Barrio Uptown and La Boca Barrio. Barrio Downtown is at the front, with a long red ribbon-like bar decorated with colorful tiling, alongside The Timber Yard lounge area where people can relax in booth seating carved out of stacks of timber. Further back is La Boca, a more club-like space inspired by the colourful neighbourhood in Buenos Aires. Expect unique hideaways and hangouts in every corner, perfect for party bookings or ‘walk-ins’. As well as a dance floor and live stage, you can expect a state of the art sound system and multi media facilities. All you need is a pocket full of money and a sombrero!

The Timber Yard in Barrio Downtown, the more informal part of the restaurant is constructed from a mix of reclaimed timber and exposed bricks walls, with the upholstery from Mexican tablecloths.

Full of playful features, a caravan made by Chordal Green has been fitted within Barrio East as a booth, and papered with bright wallpaper, complete with yellow stripes and exotic animals from House of Hackney.
