Country style can feel both casual or formal. Whether you prefer a casual or formal translation of this style, the result is always warm and inviting. It depends on the way accessories are mixed and colors are distributed. The house spotted on www.abaton.es is located in Extremadura, an autonomous community of western Spain whose capital city is Mérida. As the architects explain on their website, the building was an abandoned stable before its conversion into a warming family house. Besides redesigning the whole concept, the team has also solved the problems regarding electricity and water supply that lacked at that moment.  This house illustrates a very different kind of country charm: spare, lived in, open and relaxed. Colors are mostly natural and muted, tones that usually prove to be very relaxing and inspiring. Have a look and let us know if you enjoyed the gallery!
