The apartment from Alicante, Spain was rehabilitated by Barbarela Studio. The intention was to make spaces communicate to each other by using different, specific colors for every floor as if the hue would mark of the territory. The final result proves it heavily: there has always been a place for color inside the house! Even today, when we are used with open-plan homes, where kitchens, living rooms, and dining rooms are often one large space, color is used to help define interiors. The trick, of course, is figuring out which colors to use and where to put them.

Look at the photos realized by David Frutos and try to imagine how would a spot of color change your apartment, too!

Joy of life…write what crosses your mind on the furniture. Children will love the idea!
