Carefully designed to display a contemporary but private front facade, this modern residence  Madrona was designed by Vandeventer + Carlander Architects. Located in Seattle, Washington, the house design maximizes access to natural light and views yet maintains privacy.  The Madrona Residence was designed for a young couple, so the plans look very minimalist: at the ground floor is a large beautiful living room, private bedrooms on the second, and a shared office opening onto rooftop desks on the third. The living room space is strongly connected to the garden via large windows protected on the south side by a cedar sun screen. Cozy and elegant, this modern house is a perfect example of a relaxing urban dream home!
