Frederico Valsassina Architects designed this house in Estoril, Portugal. The project was developed in the shape of an imposing modern residence, with large windows, capturing its surroundings. The house is a result of the rehabilitation project The main entrance is on the north-side, in the continuity of the garden, and opens onto another garden, immediately to the south. Between the two gardens, follows a sequence of interconnected spaces, whose rhythm is disclosed, inside and out, by the lack of visual obstacles.  A dematerialized stairway connects the two levels of the residence, allowing quick access to the bedrooms flooded by natural light on the second floor.
