The rising sea waters caused by global warming have inspired Russian architect Alexander Remizov to design a hotel that could be built on water as well as land. The eco-friendly “Ark” could be constructed in just a few months anywhere in the world.
It’s called “The Ark”, but looks more like a ship sitting upside down on the water. Not only that it can house and save about 10.000 people, but it’s also self sufficient and environmental friendly ! It’s build so the windows take full advantage of the solar energy available, it captures wind energy with a special design wind turbine at the top, it uses electric and hydrogen accumulators for a regular power supply irrespective of environment condition.
