Would you like to experience authentic Romanian food in a traditional restaurant? You don’t have to wait an hour to get in the city…now you can try traditional dishes in the airport, in a place that borrowed a lot of themes design from Romania’s most known cultural symbols. Designed by  architect Emilia TUGUI,   the motifs represented on the facade remind me of  traditional representations used in architecture, wood crafting, clothes decoration and ceramic objects. The ad litteram translation for the name of the restaurant “La sarmale” is “At stuffed cabbage rolls” – a traditional Romanian food  influenced by Ottoman cuisine. Go try some!
