Are you a big fan of black and white? We present you a house from mohv.se that shows how a monochrome color palette can be a striking scheme for your home. But, don’t forget: to keep a room feeling big and bright, allow light to bounce around the walls by choosing a stark white paint, and introduce black accents via furniture and accessories. The villa was built in 1939, but it was  redecorated.  The property has undergone a major renovation inside with a new kitchen and bathroom, although the original feeling in the house exists, too.  I love the combination of old charm and modernity.  At the beginning, I was surprise by the fact that a building with an old architecture can offer a different aspect inside: a modern and functional kitchen, a home cinema area with high tech equipment, and an office.  All the rooms respect a equilibrium between black and white, perhaps owners’ favorite colors!

A small bedroom with a black floor that adds contrasts to the interior.

The main floor offers a wonderful and bright area with large windows, high ceilings and an integrated wall between the social areas. Here you also find the  stove and the original wooden staircase that creates a comfortable atmosphere. comfort factor.

The bathroom remains faithful to the same design theme of black and white combinations. Look at this elegant black bathtub, too.
