The luxury of El Questro Homestead sits in stark contrast to Western Australia’s rugged Kimberley landscape. Escape from it all while enjoying the comforts of a small luxury hotel just over 100 kilometres from Kununurra. El Questro Homestead has ranked 2nd in Australian Traveller’s top 10 luxury lodges in Australia list for 2011.

Attracting tens of thousands of tourists annually, who come to explore this vast and largely untouched wilderness, El Questro Wilderness Park is aiming to keep this spectacular area, with its inviting swimming holes and stunning waterfalls, cane toad free. Working with STTF and Monash University, they will be erecting a special fence that will block access to cane toads but allow native animals to move freely through and over it.

It’s a great place for a real family holiday, kids can run around and explore the wide open spaces and see the kind of wildlife you just don’t get in the city. Relax on the riverbank, swim in the tranquil swimming hole and in the evenings enjoy the best freshly made cuisine at the Steakhouse restaurant.

The Station is currently closed for the season and will be open again in 2012 from 30th March- 31st October
