It is absolutely amazing how a smaller apartment can instantly make your life a lot simpler (if not easier), as it separates the things you love from the unnecessary clutter around you! Small yet extremely functional, this one-room Scandinavian apartment is an inspiring design gem. Discovered on the website of Swedish real estate broker/designer Alvhem, the 441-square-foot crib is located in Linnéstaden, one of Gothenburg’s most vibrant neighborhoods. As you enter, you are greeted by a bright hallway with white walls and light wooden flooring. To the right is the fully equipped kitchen, which connects with a large balcony. Just being able to sit outside on the terrace is an everyday luxury, difficult to find in a big city. The kitchen features a dining table that seats up to four people. A gray mosaic tile backsplash subtly contrasts with the white cabinetry. Everything is nicely lit by downlights. The unconventional bedroom niche is separated from the living area by a short wall to increase privacy and make the most of a small apartment.
