Nico van der Meulen Architects Studio is full of inspiration and nice projects! The architectural practice was established in 1984 by owner and founder Nico van der Meulen Architects and his wife Santa. Nico grew up on a farm near the border between South Africa, Botswana and Zimbabwe, where he spent most of his childhood building bridges and structures using found materials. This was the first expression of Nico’s passion for Architecture.

Under Nico’s guidance and with his two sons following in his footsteps and joining him, the firm has grown into a family legacy. Each member of the family has established their own reputations within the design industry for their talents in architecture, interior design, decor and art. The creative and dedicated staff plays a pivotal role in creating bespoke buildings. Under Nico and Werner’s guidance, the team of professional architects, interior architects and designers apply a great deal of precision and tenacity to provide clients with nothing less than the highest quality expected, and contribute to the overall success of the practice. 4. House Mosi by Nico van der Meulen Architects

House Mosi was commissioned to Nico van der Meulen Architects with an explicit plan: the final product had to match the owner specifications. The entrance hall and a study are so separated from the private home. To honor the owner’s wish of an urban and open feel, the interior and exterior entertaining areas have been blurred by sliding stacking doors that open up the whole facade.
