Located in São Paulo, Brasil, the new Maremonti Restaurant was designed by the office Lab Architects. The intention of the architects was to build a new franchise without losing the rustic and welcoming characteristics of the space. The restaurant has access through an open area, and the architect explains that the project has characteristics of a shopping store. “In the project design, we seek inspiration in Maremonti Riviera de São Lourenço, which is a beach restaurant with the same finishes and features, but with wide spaces. The main challenge in this case was the facade work within the shopping legislation to characterize the Maremonti type. For this we used brick and visual communication in sheet metal and paint in brown color. The lighting project was developed by Lit Lighting Architecture, which used as reference previous units. “We employ from metal fixtures inserted into the pergola, which allow a more diffuse light and free to change the layout, to parts fitted at the highest lining. ” The architectural design took facade sash party – that could not be changed – inserting decorative wooden shelves. During the day, natural light enters the frame with plenty; night, the atmosphere, has dimmable lighting.
