A refined home is where timeless elegance meets modern trends in a highly customized setting. DE3 showcase their affinity for high quality through P. House – a residence so beautifully integrated in its surroundings! On one of the sloping streets of Targu Mures, Romania, P. House designed by DE3, is a modern volumetric architecture conveys the simplicity hiding behind a carefully studied floor-plan. Although the image offered to the street visually announces the construction’s architectural concept – a composition of volumes, linked together by a minimalist geometry, with highly differentiated textures – is does not, however, betray the real proportions of the building spread out on two floors and a half basement.

The interior design consistently follows the lines dictated by the exterior image: the spaces defined by planes and volumes with different textures, raw or refined, are made up of discreet and carefully studied details – slits for lighting, hidden joints, embedded furniture and functional accessories – the railing for the blinds, the grills for the floor heating, the encased screen for the home cinema. The minimalist surfaces create an adequate background for the lamps and furniture, which create a proper spectacle: the system of architectural lighting ( strips, slits and targeted spotlights) and the designer lamps, from Tal, Foscarini or Xal, the furniture from Sancal, Porro and Lago or the Gessi sanitary ware. The prize received by the DE3 building within the Transilvania Architecture Biennale, under “Housing Architecture”, confirms the quality of the architecture created by the Cluj-based team.
