For today, we want to present you the Bryan Cranston ‘s green beach house renovation. Located in Los Angeles, the modest 2,450-square foot house has three bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms. The actor Bryan Cranston wanted to build a home that was green and sustainable, but not at the expense of amenities and occupant comfort, he also wanted to show the world exactly how that was possible.

So, Cranston teamed up with the Real Green TV production crew to take viewers through the design process of his newly built beach abode, the construction of which included a critical application of spray foam insulation.

According to Cranston, he and Turturro ”challenged each other to turn the house into what it has become. We have photovoltaic solar panels, water heating panels, radiant heat in the floors, and we use old-fashioned fans. We combine modern technology with some old, tried and true methods for retaining heat and cooling down.” To learn more about the Cranston Residence project and its players, please visit www.3palmsproject.com
