Buildings roll through the city on railway tracks in this master plan by Swedish architects Jagnefalt Milton for Åndalsnes in Norway.  “There are so many old industrial areas with abandoned train tracks all over the place. Our concept uses what already exists without any need for large infrastructural investments”, said Jagnefalt Milton.

The minimalist accommodations consist of small sleeping quarters that open directly to the out of doors, allowing tourist to directly experience the natural settings. The concept is a kinetic structure that can take visitors into the heart of the fjords. The mobile flexibility allows the city to adjust for uses according to the seasons or events. Their proposal included a swimming pool and a concert hall.
