Are you a big fan of the nature? Then, you’ve come to the right place! The concept of the Hegel 516 House, realized by FRB Arquitectura is ‘the continuity of the trees through the facade’. As you can easily notice from the pictures below, the west facade of the house is invaded by nature, while its concrete structure becomes a fictional trunk. Moreover, the vegetal insertions played an essential role at the delimitation between interior and exterior: the balconies are used as an extension of the interior space, filtering views from the street level with the vegetation buffer across the facade. The central core of the building is formed by the vertical circulation (stairs and elevator), which is naturally illuminated by a glass ceiling and complemented by a central crack that ventilates each floor.
