Young architect Natalia Akimov has redesigned a small, private space of a charming apartment located in Moscow, Russia.

This stylish apartment was designed by Russian artist designer Natalia Akimov in a simplistic fashion, with an emphasis on contrasts between darks and lights.  Despite being a modest place, it is neatly decorated. The designer explains that each accessory, pattern or decoration aims to add a sense of character to the home. As she further expounds, the apartment wasn’t designed to impress. It fits people with simple tastes in interiors. Little touches of understated patterns and decorative equipment provide to add character.
