Do you like the contemporary interpretation of architecture? Then, you’ve come to the right place! We all agree on the fact that architecture does not move forward by merely copying the past. Ramat Hasharon Residence was realized by  Levy Chamizer Architects as a statement of modern architecture: pure lines, wide open plans and framing structures that connect to each other. What at first looks like a glass box framed in red is a contemporary interpretation of one, sheared and shifted in the middle. Here the ribbon-like continuity of the stucco-red frame is the most overt expression, a sharp departure from the clear structure and framing of modern houses. All the rooms are highly illuminated by natural light all day long, while most of the areas invite you to have a look outside. Glass walls and large windows connect the interior with the exterior in a harmonious relationship that beautifully influence the living of the inhabitants.

The black stairs create a dramatic contrast inside.

Where is the kitchen? Modern furnishings and high tech accessories make the ‘cooking area’ look very fancy and stylish.

Detail of the stairs.

As you can easily notice, the garden enters inside…

Large, glass areas were incorporated in the structure of the house.

Natural wood, a material that warms the interior a little.
