When you don’t have money to build a big house, the conversion of your garage into a small residence may be a solution. But, in this case, we don’t speak about lack of money…the garage designed Brunete Fraccaroli represents love for Maserati cars. It was designed in 2001 for a Maserati fan who wanted to admire his jewelry all day long. The architect opted for a contemporary look, borrowing elements such as steel, metal or glass from car industry design. It resulted an airy residence, maybe the most luxurious a car ever received in its life. :)

In this visionary project of 120m ² signed by the architect Brunete Fraccaroli for the 15th edition of the Casa Cor Show, the garage gained status of a living area with a gourmet space, lounge, home office, screen for movies, showers automated for washing car and several shelves to store the mechanic tools. Everyone loves good makeovers and the ones involving tiny spaces, creative design and ingenious solutions are my all time favorites!

 The entrance of the house

Architect Brunete Fraccaroli is known worldwide as “the color architect ” for the use of brilliant color and glass in her noted work.

I love the functionality of metal. It’s an extreme and exacting material.

To her, Brunete Fraccaroli ‘glass, color and transparency mean life, movement and energy.’ These elements are always present in her designs.

A garage and lounge area as well.

It seems that the stylist responsible for the design of the exterior of the vehicle (proportions, shape, and surfaces) influenced the interior of the house.

The designer opted for some spots of color…red chairs at the bar.

Bicycles and toy planes…an exhibition any man would fall in love with!

Storage items with an industrial look were arranged on both sides.

 Contemporary, clean design

Admire the garden through wide, transparent windows!
