Bologna-based studio Enrico Iascone Architetti has designed the Private House in Sassuolo, Italy. This two-family concrete building  has the rooms of the house are arranged around the patio, allowing the penetration of light into the core of the house. The privacy and quiet of the patio is combined with the aesthetic qualities and the expression of elegance by the dark walls.The building structure is made of wood and covered with slabs of thick ceramic panels mounted on a ventilated  wall. The roof, made of the same coating material includes the use of plates with integrated photovoltaic roof.
