Roman Leonidov’s Architectural Office built a semi-circular terrace for this house situated in a village near Moscow, Russia. What most impressed me is the way circular lines find an appropriate climate in a rigid system of straight lines and rough materials. Meanwhile, the wooden terrace harmoniously changes the perspective of the garden, smoothing the geometry of the building.
