Designed by Murdock Young Architects, the Cutler Residence is a beautiful house is located in Block Island Sound, surrounded on three sides by water, woods and wetlands.
The house is made from wood and steel, using a modern architecture. The design takes advantage of the hilly terrain and views of its site, which overlooks the Block Island Sound. Used as a vacation home, it is divided into two floor levels with a large outdoor pool and sun lounger. The Cutler Residence is built with textured wood panels that make the exterior and interior look warm and cozy.
The house’s exterior is covered in textured wood panels and consists of a many large windows. The shape of the house and its interior design make it look contemporary and clean. The yard features a large swimming pool so owners could come back from a vacation with a perfect tan.
